Are flights included in the trip fee?

No. Airfare is not included in Afro Discoveries travel packages. You’ll need to handle booking your own flights. But don’t worry – we’ve got your back! Since we, the owners, will be traveling as well, we are happy to share our flight itinerary in case you want to be on the same flight with us. If needed, we are also able to meet with you by phone or video to offer some advice and assist with preferred routes and airlines before your purchase your ticket.

Airport pick up and drop off services are included.

Absolutely! We would highly recommend you purchase Travel Protection to help protect yourself and your trip investment. Life can be unpredictable. Even the best-planned trips can be impacted by the unexpected. Travel insurance can help with medical coverage for illness or injury, trip cancellation and/or interruption, baggage loss, medical evacuation, and more.

Yes! You can cancel your trip with a full refund by September 1, 2024 of the scheduled trip start date. A cancellation fee of $100 per person will be charged. 

Pre-paid trip payments made to Afro Discoveries are non-refundable after September 1, 2024. However, you have the option to transfer your booked trip to another person, provided that Afro Discoveries is notified by September 1, 2024. The transfer request must be approved by the Afro Discoveries and will be subject to a transfer fee of $200.
