Refund Policy

Our refund policy is based on the timing of cancellation relative to the trip's start date. Pre-paid trip payments made to Afro Discoveries are non-refundable on or after 60 days of the trip. However, you have the option to transfer your booked trip to another person, provided that Afro Discoveries is notified by September 1. The transfer request must be approved by Afro Discoveries and will be subject to a transfer fee of $300.

Cancellations made:

• 100+ days before the trip receive a 90% refund.
• 75–99 days before the trip receive a 50% refund.
• 61–74 days before the trip receive a 25% refund.

The purchase of travel insurance is recommended.
